About Us
In July of 2009, Mike and Donna Brahms purchased the Glen Robin Orchard one mile west of Griswold, Iowa. The Glen Robin Orchard was originally started by R. F. Chambers in 1930. The well-established orchard has drawn customers from all over for their delicious apples grown with "that great Iowa flavor". 2010 marked the 80th anniversary of the 1300 tree orchard. The orchard name was changed to 3 Bee Farms to encompass the changing products produced at the orchard. 3 Bee Farms specializes in Apples & Bees; Produce & Pumpkins. Agritourism adventures are provided in the beautiful rural setting.
What We Do
3 Bee Farms has 23 varieties of apples to choose from with apples ripening from the end of July until November.
Produce from Asparagus to Zucchini is available in the on-site retail store, The Apple House.
The Apple House also has homemade pies, apple cider, honey, jam and jelly, dip mixes, bread mixes, soup mixes, bbq sauce, salsa and Watkins products. Come explore the many items for sale.
3 Bee Farms products are also offered at several farmers' markets.
Honey is produced by the resident honey bees and offered for sale in various forms along with beeswax products including beauty products and candles, Nativity sets,magnets and ornaments.
Educational tours and speaking engagements are available.
Fire rings are available for rent for groups and families.
Hayrides, fall produce, decorating items, pumpkins and fall activites are held.
A corn maze, pumpkin patch and farm animals are fun family activities at 3 Bee Farms.
There is a playground for adventurous children with a large sand box and fun family games.
Pick your own apples is also featured at 3 Bee Farms.
