Double D Farms Organically Grown Produce and CSA

Profile Last Updated: Jan 19, 2021
About Us
Double D Farms: a husband and wife duo with a chunk of land and an empty nest. We aren't the idle type, so when the kids moved out, we started digging up more of our yard! The next thing we knew, we had a full-blown farm. We grew up in this community and raised our children here (now we raise chickens!). If we wouldn't feed it to our family, we wouldn't feed it to yours! All of our veggies are organically grown from non-GMO seed and are cared for with sweat and hard work, rather than synthetic chemicals and harmful pesticides. At Double D Farms, we believe in sustainability and affordability. That's why we offer a CSA program. A CSA, or community supported agriculture, is where you pay a set price before the growing season starts and pick up your "share" of the crop every week typically from June through September. To ensure everyone gets their proper "share," participation in this program is limited. If you don't happen to get a spot in our CSA program, don't fret! We also have a booth at the Richland Community College Saturday Produce Market and sell fresh produce from the farm (call for availability). We have over 40 years of experience and we enjoy sharing what we've learned with our customers. We can help you get back to your roots and improve your own garden, but if that isn't your thing, we'll share ours!
